I can’t stop thinking about Mary, Jesus’ mother.
I am not a mom yet but God knows that I strongly desire to be one, one day, yet that doesn’t stop me from imagining the love that a mother has for her kids.
I can imagine Mary helplessly watching Jesus get tortured. Wanting to do everything in her power to save her son, but having no power at all.
I can imagine Mary never leaving Jesus’ side even while He is on the cross. Wanting to stay and be with Him, but selfishly not wanting to witness His death.
I can imagine Mary screaming for her son with tears pouring down her face. Mourning her loss but unaware of the plans that are to come.
I am not a mom yet but God knows that I desire to be one, one day, yet that doesn’t stop me from imagining the love that a mother has for her kids.
The love that Mary has for Jesus, and the greater love that Jesus has for us.
